Not bad for a start

Really not bad, but not good either. I liked the style. Foley would have been nice. The glare on the helmet was cool once but not twice. Try not to over use things like that in the future. Keep up the good work.

Funny but poorly done

Very funny (although, the real comercial is more amusing). The sound quality was poor and so was the animation. She raised her arm much to slow. It seemed more like a premeditated murder rather than a self-defense. And your drawing of a gun sucked (but don't feel bad nobody seems to be able to draw a gun).

Classic but not your own

One of my favorite sketches. Your problem is, though, when you use somone else's work like this you must do even more with the animation to make it your own. Stick figures just aren't enough (in any animation for that matter). So I must leave you with a below average score.

I don't know if there is a way to define emotions at all. It's kind of an abstract concept in the first place, I think.

Yes, sadness and desire are certainly emotions any way you slice it.

But being conscious of the fact that you are incomplete is more of a gray area...

But the way I view my movie is that the robot is unaware that he actually already possesses emotions but is unaware of it.

Many people keep saying this is just a rip-off of Firth's work. Now, I must that when I saw this I couldn't help but think of him. It was really good but I can't help but wonder; if David Firth hadn't made the creepy thing cool, would this have made front page?
